One-Day workshops

If you are unable to commit to joining a weekly group, Saltpot Studio One-Day Workshops offer one-off sessions (listed below) which enable you to create a unique piece to take home on that day. The workshops are designed to cater for all ranges of artistic ability, from beginners to those who are more experienced.

Numbers for workshops are limited to 6 people and are fun days to enjoy as a new experience. Workshop places can be bought as a gift, with a gift card sent to your chosen recipient. Simply email info@saltpotstudio and vouchers can be mailed to you with payment via BACs, or card/cash if you are local to Fishbourne.
If you arrive for a workshop on your own, you will have wonderful company along the way with a new group creative people. Alternatively, bring a friend to enjoy the day alongside you! Botanical Watercolours Workshop:

Mindfulness and William Morris

Date: Saturday 7th February 2026
Workshop aim: To spend an afternoon of mindful creativity and fun using iconic William Morris prints as a starting point. We'll select and develop Morris's botanical motifs and enjoy creating our own stylised botanical design, choosing favourite colour palettes, adding detail with ink and a finishing touch of 24 carat gold-leaf! It's a thoroughly absorbing afternoon allowing for full immersion with colour and design.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities - templates are available for those who would like a framework to help.
Workshops are £75 per person and include all materials, teas/coffees and biscuits plus a frame to showcase your art!
The studio is a 5 minute walk from Fishbourne train station, or alternatively there is free parking on the drive for those arriving by car.
This workshop starts at 1pm and finishes@5pm
Please kindly note that a deposit of £35 per person, payable by BACS is required to book your workshop place. Unfortunately booking fee deposits are not refundable on cancellation. Balances are payable by cash, card or cheque on the day of your workshop.

Bespoke Occasion One-Day Workshops

Booking a workshop day is a wonderful gift to treat yourself to or to share with a group of friends or family - they are a special opportunity to enjoy some time creating art together.

If you wish to book a workshop day as a gift on a special occasion, I can usually be flexible to accommodate you on a day convenient to you. Please bear in mind that I cannot offer Mondays or Thursdays because of weekly group commitments and occasional Saturdays when I run scheduled workshops. I can accept a minimum of two for a bespoke workshop day and look forward to planning a day especially for you. Contact me through the link or via email info@saltpotstudio.co.uk to share your ideas.

Please note: Costs will vary according to the workshop ideas you have in mind and will require a 50% non-refunable deposit on booking.
