Art is for Everyone: sign up for Workshops!

I am delighted to be involved with Oxmarket Contemporary in Chichester who are offering an exciting range of affordable workshops throughout the Art is For Everyone exhibition at their gallery from 21st January 2025 to 16th February 2025.

On Wednesday 29th January and 14th February 2025 I will be offering a gold-leafing workshop at the Oxmarket Contemporary, Chichester to learn a simple, practical way to apply gold-leaf onto an art design.
The workshop is 1pm until 4pm, costing £30 to include all materials and a small frame to complete the look of your finished piece.

One-Day workshops

If you are unable to commit to joining a weekly group, the Saltpot Studio One-Day Workshops offer one-off sessions (listed below) which enable you to create a unique, finished piece to take home on that day. The workshops are designed to cater for all ranges of artistic ability, from beginners to those who are more experienced.

Numbers for workshops are limited to 6 people and are fun days to enjoy as a new experience. Workshop places can be bought as a gift, with a gift card sent to your chosen recipient. If you arrive on your own, you will have wonderful company along the way with a new group of people. Alternatively, bring a friend along to enjoy the day alongside you!

Botanical Watercolour and Gold Leafing Workshop

Date: Saturday 1st February 2025 - fully booked

Workshop aim: To spend an enjoyable day creating your own gold-leaf and watercolour artwork, featuring a central image of your own choice (similar to the round format of the dragonfly on this page)..
Workshops are £70 per person and include a light lunch, all materials, teas/coffees and biscuits plus a frame to showcase your art!
The studio is a 5 minute walk from Fishbourne train station, or alternatively there is free parking on the drive for those arriving by car.
This workshop starts at 10am and finishes@4pm
Please kindly note that a deposit of £30 per person, payable by BACS is required to book your workshop place. Unfortunately booking fees are not refundable on cancellation. Balances are payable by card or cheque on the day of your workshop.

Bespoke Occasion One-Day Workshops

Booking a workshop day is a wonderful gift to treat yourself to or to share with a group of friends or family - they are a special opportunity to enjoy some time creating art together.

If you wish to book a workshop day as a gift on a special occasion, I can usually be flexible to accommodate you on a day convenient to you. Please bear in mind that I cannot offer Mondays or Thursdays because of weekly group commitments and occasional Saturdays when I run scheduled workshops. I can accept a minimum of two for a bespoke workshop day and look forward to planning a day especially for you. Contact me through the link or via email info@saltpotstudio.co.uk to share your ideas.

Please note: Costs will vary according to the workshop ideas you have in mind and will require a 50% non-refunable deposit on booking.
